Day 9: #WP20 Favourite WordPress Memory

So, today the team at WordPress decided to release both day 8 and day 9 projects for its users to try out. I decided to skip the day 8 project and go straight to day 9 since they decided to release them both on the same day.

WordPress Memory

So, for my memory I decided on going back to when I first started using WordPress. I did this because it’s the most biggest memory I have at this point having to do with WordPress.

It was back on Dec 8th, 2014 when I first made the transition from coding my site by hand to using WordPress to make this and all other sites I build. Back then WordPress was on version 4.0.1. now here we are almost 9 years later and WordPress is on version 6.2.

WordPress has made site building so much easier to do because unless you need something fancy that doesn’t already have a plugin you can do everything WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) style. Having said that, It’s still not something that everyone can do, at least not when it comes to making a well organized site that also ranks well on search engines like Google, that’s where someone like me comes into play.
